Welcome to PartTimePro ("Platform," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PartTimePro website, mobile application, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By registering for an account, accessing, or using the Platform in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must not use the Platform.
2.1 Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
2.2 Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration and onboarding process, including your legal name, valid email address, phone number, skills, work experience, and availability. You must keep this information updated.
2.3 Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. PartTimePro shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account.
2.4 One Account Per Person: You may not create more than one Worker or Employer account. Duplicate accounts will be suspended.
2.5 Identity Verification: To access Virtual Jobs and certain features, you must complete identity verification by submitting valid identification documents. We reserve the right to approve or reject verification submissions at our sole discretion. Providing false or forged documents will result in permanent account termination.
As a Worker on PartTimePro, you agree to:
Employers posting Jobs on PartTimePro agree to:
5.1 No Guarantee of Employment: PartTimePro is a matching platform only. We do not guarantee that any Worker will receive job offers or that any Employer will find suitable candidates. Job listings are subject to availability and may be modified or removed at any time.
5.2 Application Process: Workers may browse and apply for Jobs that match their profile. Employers may accept or reject applications at their discretion. PartTimePro does not make hiring decisions and is not a party to any employment relationship formed through the Platform.
5.3 Work Agreements: For certain Jobs, a digital Work Agreement may be generated and must be signed by both parties through the Platform. This Agreement constitutes a binding contract between the Worker and the Employer. PartTimePro is not a party to this Agreement.
5.4 No Application Fees: PartTimePro does not charge Workers any fee to create a profile, browse Jobs, or submit applications.
6.1 Nature of Virtual Jobs: Virtual Jobs are online tasks — such as quizzes, assessments, document submissions, and verification exercises — designed to validate Worker skills and eligibility. They are not traditional employment.
6.2 Point Earnings: Successful completion of Virtual Job tasks awards Points to your Worker Wallet. Points are virtual credits with no inherent cash value.
6.3 Point Conversion: Points may be converted to Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) only through the Platform's approved withdrawal process, subject to minimum balance thresholds, withdrawal rules, and any applicable fees as published on the Platform.
6.4 Point Forfeiture: We reserve the right to reverse or forfeit Points earned through fraudulent activity, submission of plagiarized or fake work, exploitation of bugs, or violation of these Terms.
6.5 Virtual Job Availability: Virtual Jobs, eligibility criteria, and task requirements may change at any time without prior notice.
7.1 Withdrawal Requests: Workers with sufficient Points may submit withdrawal requests through the Platform. Withdrawals are subject to minimum and maximum limits, processing times, and any fees published in the Worker Wallet section.
7.2 Processing: Withdrawal requests are reviewed and processed within the timeframe stated on the Platform. We reserve the right to delay, reject, or cancel any withdrawal request that we reasonably suspect is fraudulent, in violation of these Terms, or erroneous.
7.3 Payment Information: You are responsible for providing accurate payment details (bank account, mobile wallet, etc.). PartTimePro is not liable for funds sent to incorrect accounts due to inaccurate information provided by you.
7.4 Taxes: You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes applicable to earnings received through the Platform.
8.1 Platform Content: All content, features, and functionality on the PartTimePro Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, algorithms, and the overall design — are the exclusive intellectual property of PartTimePro or its licensors and are protected by Sri Lankan and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
8.2 Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.
8.3 User-Generated Content: By submitting content to the Platform (profile information, task submissions, reviews, etc.), you grant PartTimePro a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.
You agree not to:
10.1 Platform Role: PartTimePro operates solely as a technology platform that connects Workers with Employers and facilitates Virtual Job activities. We are not an employer, employment agency, or recruitment firm. We do not supervise, direct, or control Workers or the work they perform.
10.2 No Liability for User Conduct: To the fullest extent permitted by law, PartTimePro, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to:
10.3 Cap on Liability: In any event, PartTimePro's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount of Points earned by you through the Platform in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or LKR 10,000, whichever is less.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PartTimePro, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
12.1 By You: You may delete your account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12.2 By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for any of the following reasons:
12.3 Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Any pending Job applications, active Work Agreements, and unprocessed withdrawal requests will be handled in accordance with applicable policies. Accrued Points may be forfeited if termination is due to your violation of these Terms.
13.1 Informal Resolution: We encourage you to contact our support team first to resolve any disputes informally. Most issues can be resolved through direct communication.
13.2 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
13.3 Jurisdiction: Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
We reserve the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must discontinue use of the Platform and may delete your account.
15.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any Work Agreements entered into through the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and PartTimePro.
15.2 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
15.3 No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
15.4 Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations without restriction.
